Podere il Pero is a B&B in Siena housed in an old farmhouse a few kilometers from the walls of the historic centre. The structure, in the classic country style and surrounded by a garden, was recently renovated and offers comfortable and welcoming rooms, an apartment and free parking. Its position makes it a convenient base for those who want to visit Siena and its surroundings and are looking for a holiday of relaxation and nature.
The cottage is located in the Tuscan countryside, just 5 minutes by car from the center of Siena. Alternatively, it is possible to reach the center by public transport in about 10 minutes, thanks to the bus stop located a few steps from the hotel. Guests who want to visit the surroundings can reach some of the most beautiful villages in Chianti in less than an hour, such as Greve, Gaiole, Radda and Montefioralle, or other famous towns such as Montalcino and San Gimignano.
There are 4 rooms in typical rustic Tuscan style. Spacious and bright, some, thanks to their considerable size, allow the addition of a third bed. All rooms have air conditioning, TV with satellite channels, Wi-Fi connection, safe, minibar and private bathroom with shower, hairdryer and courtesy set.
Podere il Pero offers, in addition to the rooms, also an apartment inside what was once the stable. As you enter, you enter a living area with a small equipped kitchen, dining area and sofa bed, then continue into the hallway that leads to the bathroom with shower and to the double bedroom. There is heating and a TV with satellite channels.
The structure is characterized by a large garden furnished with a gazebo and a common room with fireplace. Among the services available there is also parking, a washing machine for common use, luggage storage and a paid shuttle. Finally, there are agreements with some agencies in the area that organize excursions in the surrounding area with the possibility of including transport for those who do not have their own means.
