Alberghi.it srl, about us, history, partners, rebranding and social projects

Alberghi.it is a 100% Italian website. The two partners are born-and-bred locals from Rimini, the company and offices are based in Rimini, and the entire staff works from Rimini: experience in the tourism sector, technical skills and knowledge of Italy are the company's strengths.

In October 2023, building on a 20-year history, INFO-ALBERGHI.COM renewed its brand and became ALBERGHI.IT.

This rebranding and the creation of a new digital identity took shape in 2 steps:
- a domain name change from info-alberghi.com to alberghi.it
- a company name change from Info Alberghi Srl to Alberghi.it Srl

Alberghi.it therefore represents a natural evolution of info-alberghi.com, condensing the company's identity and mission into a single word, through a high-profile domain that is more relevant, more consistent and easier to remember.
Alberghi.it began its story by widening its scope. The towns of the Riviera Romagnola - its historic core area - were soon joined by the art cities of Bologna, Florence and Siena, as well as the seaside towns of the Adriatic Coast, with the goal of expanding our presence across Italy.

Andrea Sacchetti and Lucio Bonini are the 2 founding partners, friends since their teenage years. In 2003 they decided to bring a bit of "order" to the chaos of the online tourism world, aiming to create a website that puts the user first, providing clear, useful and above all truthful information.
Andrea Sacchetti - brings his expertise and precision to the company's administrative management and to much of the relationship with clients, the sales network and business development.
Lucio Bonini - having grown up in his family's 2 hotels, is the company's operational arm. A creative project manager and an expert in the hotel industry, search engines and artificial intelligence, he puts his hands-on experience to work online.
