DESCRIPTION
The Grand Hotel Excelsior is a family-run 4-star hotel located on the Senigallia seafront. Born in the 1960s, it is among the first hotels in the city. Pet-friendly, it offers a swimming pool, bicycle rental, a affiliated bathing establishments and family services, such as a mini club and a dedicated playground area on the beach.
LOCATION AND TRANSPORT
The structure is located on the Alighieri seafront in Senigallia and is easily accessible by car: it is in fact only 8 minutes from the motorway toll booth and 23 minutes from Ancona airport. The train station is a 25-minute walk or 10-minute bus ride (BS1 line to the Senigallia-Summerland stop, a 5-minute walk from the hotel). The main attractions of the historic center and the Rotonda a Mare can be reached by car in 10 minutes.
ROOMS
The spacious rooms, furnished in a simple and functional way, overlook the sea or the Marche hills. All have a balcony, independent air conditioning, TV with Sky channels, free Wi-Fi, safe, minibar (in rooms with sea view), telephone and bathroom with shower cubicle, personal hygiene products and wall-mounted hairdryer.
SERVICES
The Grand Hotel Excelsior has a large private garage accessible for a fee and by reservation, equipped with a column for charging electric cars. The lounge area of the bar open 24 hours a day and a large furnished panoramic terrace are available to customers. The hotel has an agreement with three nearby beach establishments and with a sailing school.

SWIMMING POOL
The seasonal swimming pool, located in the hotel courtyard, has a hydromassage area and solarium with sun loungers and beach umbrella. The presence of a shallow water area also makes it suitable for bathing for children. |
