Hotel on Viale Euclide - Cesenatico

Staying on Viale Euclide in Cesenatico

Staying on Viale Euclide in Cesenatico

Staying on Viale Euclide in Villamarina di Cesenatico means being in the southern part of the town, practically on the border with Gatteo a Mare. This is an ideal location because it's just steps from the beach and, at the same time, easy access to the town center and the nearby evening stroll.

The sea is very close: along the street, the distance to the beach is approximately 80 to 130 meters. Therefore, it only takes a few minutes' walk to reach Viale Carducci and cross it towards the beach clubs. This is particularly convenient during a beach holiday, especially if you want to travel between the beach and your accommodation several times during the day.

Viale Euclide's location, however, must be considered along the border between Cesenatico and Gatteo a Mare. Despite being located in Villamarina, the street is much closer to the center of Gatteo a Mare than to the historic center of Cesenatico. From the central points of the street, it's only about 300 meters to the Gatteo Mare area. This means you're within walking distance of shops, ice cream parlors, bars, and the areas where much of the evening entertainment takes place.

Cesenatico's Porto Canale, designed by Leonardo da Vinci, is just over 5 km away. It's therefore not the best area to choose if your primary goal is to stay near the historic center, but Porto Canale is easily accessible by bicycle, public transportation, or a short drive. Once there, you can stroll along the docks, visit the Maritime Museum, and stop at the restaurants and bars in the center.

Cycling is particularly useful on this part of the coast. The terrain is flat, allowing you to follow the coastline toward Valverde and the center of Cesenatico, or, in the opposite direction, pass through Gatteo a Mare and continue toward Savignano Mare and Bellaria. For daily trips between the beach, walks, and nearby towns, it can therefore be a valid alternative to the car.

Even for those arriving by train, there's a peculiarity to consider. The most convenient train station is not Cesenatico, which is over 5 km away, but Gatteo a Mare, located much closer to Villamarina. Coastal trains pass through here, providing access to Cesenatico, Cervia, and Ravenna, or, in the opposite direction, to Bellaria and Rimini.

For a day away from the beach, you can head to Parco di Levante, a large green space in Cesenatico with walking and cycling paths, lakes, and spaces for strolling or spending a few hours outdoors. If you're looking for some shopping, the Romagna Shopping Valley is just over 3 km from the Viale Euclide area.

The location is also interesting for exploring the hinterland. Longiano is one of the closest villages, with its historic center centered around the Malatesta Castle, while Santarcangelo di Romagna offers piazzas, districts, and a unique system of underground caves. For a more extensive cultural visit, you can instead head to Cesena, home to the Malatesta Library and the Rocca.

Viale Euclide is therefore particularly suitable for those seeking a nearby seafront location and a lively area within walking distance, taking advantage of its location on the border between Villamarina and Gatteo a Mare. Cesenatico's historic center is further away, but this very location allows for easy access to the beach, Gatteo Mare, Cesenatico, and nearby towns during your stay.
