The hotels on Via Sardegna in Misano Adriatico are located in the northern part of the town, close to the beach and conveniently located for both downtown Misano and Riccione. From here, you can use the EcoVia del Mare to walk and cycle along the coast, reach Portoverde, and continue towards the Conca Park. The area is also ideal for those who want to combine the beach with other activities: the Misano World Circuit is located inland, while Riccione offers theme parks like Aquafan and Oltremare. A convenient base for enjoying the beach, cycling, the Riviera, and the hinterland without concentrating your entire holiday in one area.

Staying on Via Sardegna in Misano Adriatico
Staying on Via Sardegna in Misano Adriatico
Choosing a hotel on Via Sardegna in Misano Adriatico means staying in the northern part of the town, in a seaside area close to the sea and facing the border with Riccione. It's an ideal location for those seeking the beach and easy access to the coast, without necessarily staying in the center of Misano.
Via Sardegna runs behind the seafront, in the area known as Misano Brasile. The sea is generally a short walk away: along the street, the distances indicated for hotels vary from those practically on the beach to about 270 meters from the shoreline. It's therefore an area where daily vacation activities can easily be organized on foot.
Misano's beach is wide and sandy, with well-equipped beach clubs and a completely flat promenade. This stretch of coast is particularly convenient for families, allowing you to combine the sea, walking, and cycling without having to travel far.
One of the area's interesting features is its connection to the EcoVia del Mare, a roughly 4 km path that runs along the Misano seafront from Portoverde to the border with Riccione. The bike path is flat and separated from pedestrian areas, making it ideal for leisurely rides with children. Along the route, you'll also find the Mare-Nord Park, where you can stop in the shade of the pine trees.
The center of Misano Adriatico isn't right on your doorstep, but it's easily accessible. From the hotels on Via Sardegna, the approximate distance is about 1.1-1.4 km. You can therefore reach it on foot, especially in the evening, or by bicycle. The central area centers around Via dei Platani and the surrounding streets, where during the tourist season there's a focus on strolling, shopping, and evening entertainment.
Its northern location also offers another advantage: Riccione is very close. Following the coast, you can head towards the Fontanelle neighborhood and continue to the more central areas. This connection is particularly easy by bike, allowing you to use Via Sardegna as a base for exploring both locations without constantly having to rely on your car.
In the opposite direction, you can walk along the entire Misano seafront to Portoverde, a small town nestled around the dock. It's a pleasant destination for a stroll or a different kind of evening, and it also serves as the connection between the EcoVia del Mare and the EcoVia del Conca.
This last itinerary allows you to gradually leave the coast and follow the river inland. The route crosses the Conca nature reserve, passes near the artificial lake, and also runs alongside the Misano World Circuit. The protected section includes a wildlife observatory used for birdwatching. It's an interesting option, especially during longer stays, when you want to alternate the beach with a few hours in nature.
The Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli is naturally one of the main landmarks in the area. The circuit isn't located on the coast, but can be reached from the Via Sardegna area with a relatively short inland trip. During major motorsport events, Misano attracts many visitors, and it's worth considering the increased traffic, especially on the days of the most important events.
For those traveling with children, besides the beach, you can also plan days at the Riviera theme parks. Aquafan and Oltremare are located in Riccione, while the Cattolica Aquarium is easily accessible by continuing south. Misano's location, between Riccione and Cattolica, allows you to choose from a variety of activities without having to travel long distances.
Cycling also allows you to explore much more than just the seaside. After the EcoVia del Mare and the EcoVia del Conca, the system of trails continues with the EcoVia delle Colline, which crosses the countryside to Misano Monte and then returns to the coast. Those looking for a simpler route can instead stick to the completely flat seafront.
For a day inland, you can head to the hills of the Conca Valley. Gradara is one of the most popular destinations, but you can also reach Montefiore Conca, Saludecio, Mondaino, and Montegridolfo. These excursions allow you to quickly transition from seaside resorts to villages, countryside, and hilly views.
Via Sardegna is therefore a great base, especially for those who want to experience the coast in an active way. The sea is nearby, Riccione is easily accessible, the center of Misano is within walking distance, and the EcoVie network allows you to travel from the beach to Portoverde, the Conca, and the hills. This location also lends itself well to longer stays, where you can combine sea, cycling, nature, theme parks, and excursions into the hinterland.
