Grand Hotel Majestic formerly Baglioni is a luxurious 5-star hotel in the historic center of Bologna, housed in an 18th-century building and characterized by an exclusive and elegant atmosphere. LOCATION AND TRANSPORT
The hotel is located in the historic center of Bologna, in via dell'Indipendenza, in an ideal area for reaching the main tourist attractions of the city on foot. Piazza Maggiore, the Fountain of Neptune, the Basilica of San Petronio and the Cathedral of San Pietro are a 3-minute walk away. Walking for 5 minutes it is possible to reach the suggestive city observation point called Fenestrate, while the Jewish Ghetto is 7 minutes away. From the central station the hotel can be reached in 6 minutes by car (or 15 on foot), while from the airport the journey takes approximately 20 minutes by car or with the Marconi Express shuttle.
ROOMS
Guests have the possibility to choose between different types of rooms and suites, all equipped with satellite TV with Sky channels, minibar, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, telephone, safe, linen or cotton sheets. The Verdi Royal Suite, with its 150 m2, is the most luxurious and features a fireplace, velvet canopies and a view of the Cathedral. Lastly, the Art Deco Terrace Suite is located on the fifth floor with a private lift and is characterized by the presence of an 80 m2 panoramic terrace.
