It can be reached by train using public transport from the stations of Tirana (in Italy) and Zernez (in Switzerland), by plane from the airports of Milan, Bergamo (connected in winter by the Livigno Express service) and Zurich. Those traveling by car can take provincial roads if arriving from Lombardy, Piedmont and Liguria (SS36 for Lecco to Colico, SS38 to Bormio and then SS301), or the A22 motorway to Bolzano Sud, then continuing towards Livigno for 2 hours and 30 minutes. In this case, the route includes a stretch in Switzerland.
