The Soggiorno Antica Torre bed and breakfast is located in the historic center of Florence, on the third floor of a noble tower in Piazza della Signoria. Featuring parquet floors, beamed ceilings and antique furniture, the large apartment offers rooms and suites suitable for couples and families and accepts pets. At guests' disposal a parking with special rates, an equipped kitchen and excursion booking service.
LOCATION AND TRANSPORT
Soggiorno Antica Torre overlooks Piazza della Signoria: just take a few steps to find yourself in front of Palazzo Vecchio, the Loggia dei Lanzi, the Salone del Cinquecento and the Fountain of Neptune. In one minute on foot you can reach the Uffizi Gallery, in 3 minutes you get to Ponte Vecchio, while it takes about 7 minutes to get to Piazza del Duomo or Piazza Pitti. Santa Maria Novella station is about a 12-minute walk away.
ROOMS
The 6 rooms of the structure are airy and elegantly furnished: the antique wooden furniture, the exposed beams and the parquet floor make the atmosphere warm and welcoming. Although all doubles, some can be adapted to accommodate three or four people. Each has a private bathroom with shower or bathtub, courtesy set and hairdryer, independent air conditioning and heating, free Wi-Fi, TV, telephone, kettle and mini-bar.
SERVICES
The reception of the B&B is open from 08:00 to 13:00, then you can access with the automatic check-in service. You can take advantage of the left-luggage office and access the Wi-Fi network for free, while for an extra fee you can request the laundry service. In the common area there is also a PC station with printer. The staff is always available for restaurant reservations, tours of Tuscany, tickets for events and museums and parking spaces.
Children: cots and extra beds on request and with a daily supplement, baby-sitting service for a fee.
Pets: pets are admitted free of charge and are provided with a kennel, bowl and welcome snack; a dog-sitter service is available upon request and for a fee.
Disabled: access to the floor of the B&B only via stairs.
FOOD
The included breakfast is Italian and includes cereals, rusks, biscuits and croissants accompanied by cappuccino, coffee, tea and milk. It can be consumed in the room (where juices, yoghurt and fruit are left in the fridge daily) or in the breakfast room with fully equipped kitchen available to guests. It is possible to request options for intolerances and special diets.
