Porcellino Gallery Art Boutique B&B in Florence is not only a family-run accommodation facility, but also an art gallery. Inserted on the first floor of a completely renovated 16th century building and accessible only by stairs, it stands out for its all different design rooms, the high ceilings, the 17th century tapestries and the large balcony which from the living room overlooks the Piazza del New market. Many of the works exhibited in the various rooms can be purchased.
The property is located in a restricted traffic area in the San Giovanni district, in the historic center of Florence. From here it takes just a few steps to visit Palazzo Vecchio, the Loggia dei Lanzi and reach the Uffizi Gallery and Ponte Vecchio. The Duomo can be reached in just 4 minutes on foot, while for Piazza de' Pitti it takes 10. The train station is a 13-minute walk away, passing in front of the Basilica of Santa Maria Novella.
The rooms of the Porcellino Gallery Art Boutique B&B are spacious and furnished in an elegant and refined way. The types are divided into Standard, Deluxe, King Superior and Junior Suite rooms.
