Il Terrazzino sulla Cattedrale is a bed and breakfast housed on the first floor of an 18th century building overlooking Piazza Duomo, in the historic center of Florence. The central location allows you to walk to the main tourist attractions of the city. It has an elevator, a common room with a small library and elegant rooms, equipped with private facilities and a view of the Cathedral or the Niccolini Theater. Pets are allowed.
The B&B is located in the center of Florence, overlooking the side of the Duomo. The Basilica of Santa Maria Novella is 7 minutes on foot, Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi Gallery 8 minutes, the Fortezza da Basso 14 minutes. The train station can be reached in 10 minutes on foot and the Amerigo Vespucci airport in 30 minutes by car or bus.
The rooms, with light and warm tones, are large, new and tastefully furnished. They are divided into Standard, Superior and Suite Deluxe. All are equipped with air conditioning, heating, private bathroom with bath or shower, small desk, TV, minibar, tea and coffee making facilities and Wi-Fi connection. Some rooms have a view of the Duomo and/or a private terrace. Upon notice, it is possible to request the addition of a third bed or a cot.
For those arriving by car, a discounted parking is available not far from the structure. The reception staff will be happy to provide their guests with any type of information, including advice on restaurants, museums and guided tours. There is a lift, a reading room with a bookcase, a Mac for surfing the Internet, a tea and coffee machine equipped with capsules and a left-luggage office. Self check-in is available upon request, subject to notification at the time of booking. Wi-Fi is free.

Disabled people: the structure is equipped with a lift and all rooms are also accessible to guests with disabilities. The rooms have a lower sink, raised toilet seat and wheelchair access.
Upon their arrival, customers are given a coupon to enjoy breakfast at the pastry shop located on the ground floor of the building. The service includes an Italian breakfast with a variety of brioches, fruit juices and coffee or, alternatively, an international proposal with savory products and coffee.
