The hotel is just a 3-minute walk from the Santa Maria Novella train station and the Basilica of the same name. The Amerigo Vespucci airport is 25 minutes away by shuttle which leaves from the nearby train station, from which buses also pass that can connect the area with various points of the city.

The 19 rooms of the Hotel Montreal are divided into Deluxe, Confort Deluxe, Junior Suite Deluxe, Basic, Superior and Family categories. All Deluxe typologies have been recently refurbished and therefore boast a modern design with parquet floors and soundproofing system; the other rooms have more classic styles and furnishings. All rooms have a private bathroom with shower, courtesy set and hairdryer, free Wi-Fi connection, air conditioning, LCD satellite TV, safe, kettle and minibar. The Junior Suite stands out for the size of the spaces and for the additional free amenities such as the bathrobe, slippers, the Vanity set and the non-alcoholic mini-bar.

The hotel offers an agreement with a covered garage nearby, usable for a fee and subject to availability. On site there is a lounge bar, a common room with TV, luggage storage and a reception with concierge service available for booking guided tours of the city and museum visits.
