Hotel Embassy is a 4-star hotel housed in a 19th century building, located in a quiet area a few steps from the center of Florence and close to the train station. Renovated in 2020 keeping the Renaissance characteristics unchanged, it features architectural elements of the time combined with modern and eco-friendly furnishings. The hotel is located in the center of Florence, a 5-minute walk from the train station and 10 minutes from Piazza di Santa Maria Novella. The Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore can be reached with a 13-minute walk, while the Ponte Vecchio and Piazza della Signoria are about an 18-minute walk away. Amerigo Vespucci airport can be reached in 20 minutes by car or bus.
The rooms are all different, functional and tastefully decorated. Some rooms are located in the main building and retain classic-style finishes such as period frescoes and brick vaults. Other rooms are located in an outbuilding created from an old and completely renovated shed and are characterized by terracotta floors and ceilings with exposed beams. Additional rooms are housed within the resort which opened in 2008 and feature contemporary style elements and decor. All rooms have a marble bathroom with bathtub or rain shower, hairdryer, air conditioning, heating, satellite TV, safe, minibar and Wi-Fi connection. There are accommodations with equipped terraces and rooms suitable for hosting families or people with disabilities.
The hotel offers paid private parking on site with limited spaces and an agreement with a nearby garage with car valet service. There are large common rooms, a bar, an outdoor patio and a meeting room.
