Description, location and services
Rainell Dolomites Retreat is a 4-star family-run property located in Ortisei opposite the Pilat ski slope. It offers guests a choice of rooms, suites, apartments and chalets. The property features a wellness centre, indoor and outdoor pool, and a shuttle service to the ski lifts.
LOCATION AND TRANSPORT
The hotel is located in Ortisei opposite the Pilat ski slope, a ten-minute walk from the Ortisei - Alpe di Siusi / Mont Sëuc cable car and less than 15 minutes from the centre. It is about 30 minutes from the Chiusa-Val Gardena toll booth on the A22 and can be reached from Bolzano station and airport by public transport or private transfer.
ROOMS
The property offers different types of accommodation, including rooms and suites, all equipped with a panoramic balcony, Wi-Fi connection, TV, safe, minibar and private bathroom with shower or bathtub, hairdryer, courtesy set and bathrobe. Upon request, slippers are also available for guests.
Some suites offer exclusive features for an even more comfortable stay, such as two-level solutions with tiled stove, large living areas with sofa beds and private panoramic terraces.
APARTMENTS
There are 3 types of apartments and a chalet. All solutions have an equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, balcony, Wi-Fi, TV and safe, a reserved parking space for each apartment, self-service washing machine and dryer for a fee. The Pilat apartment has direct access to the garden, a living room with a sofa bed and a double bedroom; the Piz apartment has a bedroom and a sofa bed; the Puez apartment, larger, has a living room with a sofa bed and a double bedroom. The Romantic Chalet is external, suitable for 2 or 3 people, complete with a living room, tiled stove, double bed, kitchen and bathroom.
SERVICES
The hotel has free outdoor parking and a paid garage. The common areas include a furnished garden, a sun terrace, a bar. Among the services available, Wi-Fi connection, elevator, luggage storage, 4 charging stations for electric cars. For all guests Val Gardena Mobil Card.
Children: family rooms and apartments are available, cots and high chairs at the table on request. For children who participate in the ski school, dedicated ski bus service.

SPORTS
The hotel has direct access to the ski slopes and has a ski storage room with heated lockers. It offers a ski delivery and collection service, the possibility of printing the ski pass in the hotel and a shuttle service to the ski lifts. Guests have access to a small gym and a bike room for bicycles, as well as the possibility of participating in the excursions proposed by the Val Gardena Active program.
SPA
The wellness center is freely accessible to all guests (rooms and apartments). It has a Finnish sauna, infrared sauna, Turkish bath, relaxation area, indoor and outdoor pool, fitness corner. Massages and treatments are available on request for a fee. Wellness kit with towel and bathrobe provided.
POOL
The pool is heated and located partly inside the wellness center and partly outside, where it offers a beautiful panoramic view. Open all year round, it is freely accessible to guests of all ages.
FOOD
Breakfast is buffet style and includes a sweet and savory selection. The property offers 4-choice menus, inspired by local and Italian cuisine. Specific products for food intolerances are available on request. Grander vitalized water is available for guests.
