Art Hotel Orologio is a 4-star hotel located in the historic center of Bologna, facing Piazza Maggiore and the Clock Tower which gives the structure its name. Housed in a 19th century building, it is characterized by the luxurious furnishings that distinguish the rooms, suites and apartments. Many services are offered, including a bar, free bike rental, a shuttle to and from the airport and the possibility of parking in a garage with which we have an agreement.
The hotel overlooks Piazza Maggiore, the historic Bolognese square from which it is easy to reach the Basilica of San Petronio, the Fountain of Neptune, the two towers and Via dell'Indipendenza in less than 5 minutes on foot. The nearest bus stop is just a 3-minute walk away and takes you to the station in 10 minutes. From the central station, the Marconi Express shuttle takes you to the airport in about ten minutes.
All accommodations are equipped with satellite TV, minibar, safe, air conditioning and kettle. Furthermore, 3 apartments located in areas adjacent to the hotel can be booked, the largest of which can accommodate 5 people. Of these, Suite Studio is a modern studio apartment with a hideaway kitchen, Suite Corte has a terrace, fitness area and hydromassage tub, while Suite Palazzo consists of a living room, kitchen, bedroom and two bathrooms, one of which with a hydromassage tub.
The hotel opens onto a common area with computer station and printer and onto a lounge bar where happy hours are organized in the evening. The reception staff also manages the sale of tickets for museums, theaters and local events, as well as the booking service for trips on double-decker panoramic buses (for a fee). Those who wish can take cooking classes and request an airport shuttle service.
Children: family accommodations, cots, high chairs, bottle warmers, baby-sitting services and pediatric visits are available upon request.
