Antico Podere San Luca is a bed and breakfast immersed in the green hills of Bologna, facing the park that separates the capital of Emilia from Casalecchio. The structure owes its name to its origins as an agricultural building dating back to the 1500s, traces of which still remain in the architecture that characterizes the apartments and in the well in the courtyard. In addition to the quiet location but close to the historic center and well connected by public transport, the B&B guarantees a parking space and independent use of the equipped kitchen available in each residence.
The farm is located in Bologna in the residential area of Zaragoza, opposite the Parco della Chiusa and a 2-minute walk from the bus stop. On foot it is possible to reach the Madonna di San Luca Sanctuary in 12 minutes, while those traveling by car can arrive in 15 minutes at Porta Saragozza and approach the limited-traffic historic centre. The closest station is Casalecchio, a 15-minute drive away. Marconi Airport is a 20-minute drive away.
The elegant apartments with independent entrance, built after the renovation of the old stable, maintain some typical elements of the original architecture, such as wooden furniture and ceilings with exposed beams. This architectural style is combined with modern spaces, including a sleeping area with double bed, private bathroom with shower cubicle and hairdryer, living area with flat-screen TV corner and kitchen equipped with stove, microwave, kettle, coffee machine and fridge. Both types, Classic and Superior, can accommodate up to 4 people plus a cot.
The property is surrounded by a furnished garden and offers outdoor parking spaces in a protected corner of the park. Wi-Fi is free and available in every room. Anyone interested in booking trekking routes, museums or guided tours can contact the staff during reception opening hours.
