Albergo delle Drapperie is a 3-star hotel located in the center of Bologna, a few steps from Piazza Maggiore. Opened from the second half of the 1800s, it is located in a historic building of which it still maintains the classic and elegant atmosphere, thanks to period furniture made of dark woods and wrought iron. The 20 bedrooms can accommodate from 1 to 3 people, the staff is available to book tickets, visits and transfers.
LOCATION AND TRANSPORT
The property is located in the historic center of Bologna, in a pedestrian area with typical shops, bars and restaurants offering traditional Emilian cuisine. It is a couple of minutes walk from the Basilica of San Petronio, the two towers and Piazza Maggiore. By bus, which stops a 2-minute walk from the hotel, it is possible to reach Central Station in 10 minutes and from here take the Marconi Express shuttle which takes you to the airport in around 12 minutes.
ROOMS
There are 20 accommodations including single, double and triple Junior Suites with lounge area. With a warm and romantic atmosphere, they are characterized by an art nouveau style design with frescoed ceilings with exposed beams, paintings hanging on the walls and wrought iron beds. All rooms have bathrooms with tub or shower, TV, safe, minibar and air conditioning. Some also have a French balcony overlooking the city.
SERVICES
The hotel has a left-luggage office open until late afternoon for customers who have already checked out. By contacting the reception during business hours, guests can book tickets for sightseeing and food and wine tours, rent a car with driver or use the airport shuttle service (all services for a fee); there is also a general shuttle service and car rental with driver. Wi-Fi is free throughout the property.

Disabled people: the lift starts from the first floor, to get from the ground floor to the first one it is compulsory to climb 2 flights of stairs.
